Deadpool Killustrated #4

Deadpool Killustrated #4 was somewhat interesting.  Deadpool kills a few more interesting characters but no epic battles or long story telling as happened in the first two issues.  Reading this comic right after reading Deadpool number eight from the regular Deadpool series made me realize this mini-series was weak in comparison.  It seems as if they creative team is just interested in making another mini-series after another doing as little work as possible after the first issue.

Deadpool Killustrated #3

Deadpool Killustrated #3 was entertainingly good.  We the readers finally get to see a few more famous characters of literature finished off by Deadpool.   I liked the idea of stealing the Frankenstein Monster by transplanting a little of Deadpool’s brain.  Once activated the Frankenstein Deadpool and Deadpool continue their rampage followed closely by Sherlock Holms and company.  The writers are showing a bit more imagination and hopefully this story will improve.

This is my 200th update!!

Deadpool Killustrated #2 !!!

Deadpool Killustrated #2 was rather entertaining.  Though not finishing off Captain Ahab was rather disappointing considering how much time he spent in the comic.  I was also a little disappointed with how little time was spent doing in the main character displayed on the front cover of the comic.  At least Count Dracula was given more than a page for his death.  But giving the Little Women characters that many pages was disappointing.  With luck the cliffhanger characters will give Deadpool a better fight.

Deadpool Killustrated!

Deadpool Killustrated #1 Moby Dick; Awww… I was hoping for more of a literary parody and less of a super hero comic book.  But while clever this Deadpool comic is just another Deadpool comic.  We do not spend nearly enough time with Moby Dick, the Man of La Mancha or Don Quixote.  I kind of suspected of all the classics Deadpool would like the man.  Captain Ahab looks a bit like Wolverine.  I was hoping the story would continue a bit before introducing the Detective.
