Deadpool Killustrated #3

Deadpool Killustrated #3 was entertainingly good.  We the readers finally get to see a few more famous characters of literature finished off by Deadpool.   I liked the idea of stealing the Frankenstein Monster by transplanting a little of Deadpool’s brain.  Once activated the Frankenstein Deadpool and Deadpool continue their rampage followed closely by Sherlock Holms and company.  The writers are showing a bit more imagination and hopefully this story will improve.

Frankenstein!

Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E. #16 – Well that was weird, last issue of Frankenstien and party of survivors were on their way to win the war against his creator and the rot plague.  This issue was a totally different story as if the last issue had not happened.  I hate when this happens.  The comic itself was entertaining and well written.  It tells the story of when secret agencies collide, good stuff.

Ravagers and Frankenstein

The Ravagers is up to number seven and the writers seem to have run out of ideas.  Or maybe they are tired of the on the run storyline.  But you know a story is in trouble when the mysterious precognitive hero shows us a dark future “we must avoid” and it takes half the issue.  I was hoping for better the story hinted at something more interesting, I guess I was wrong and it is time to give up on this title.

Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E. is up to number fifteen now.  The story is just kind of trippy seventyish Heavy Metal Magazine kind of weird.  But in a good way that makes me wonder if I should have been keeping track of the Animal Man comic.
