Worlds' Finest Huntress and Power Girl #14
Worlds’ Finest Huntress and Power Girl #14 continues the
downward spiral of a once really clever and interesting storyline. Once Desaad entered the picture this comic
just turned into a pile of stupid.
Suddenly the strong confident women who are the star of the comic
devolved into incompetence. They are
unable to fix, stop or figure out what is going on around them. Yet for five years they were on their way to
running the biggest most technologically advanced company in the world. The comic really feels like someone at the DC
office decided oh we can’t have women doing well without a man to save
them. Disappointing.

Worlds' Finest Huntress and Power Girl #13
Worlds’ Finest Huntress and Power Girl #13 where what was
once an interesting and entertaining comic book degrades into just another
cheesecake and hitting things comic.
Having Desaad suddenly show up and be able to totally ruin the ladies lives
and business, killing their friends in the process is just horrible sloppy
writing. Not to mention there is no way
that our worlds Justice League or Justice League America would not notice these
fights and show up. Taking out islands,
taking out buildings and part of cities you just don’t ignore those
things. I am so very disappointed.

Worlds Finest Huntress and Power Girl #11
Worlds Finest Huntress and Power Girl #11 was
interesting. Huntress did the sneaky spy
thing looking for clues about who was interfering with Power Girls
research. They both end up at a party
and find that Michael Hold (Mister Miracle) was still alive, but in a twist it
turns out it was actually Desaad somehow.
So anyway while well written with a good flashback story it all hung on
the cliff hanger ending and I was starting to think we might actually get
something better from the creative team behind this comic.

Comcis! DC Comics!
I am finally getting to some of last week’s comic
books. DC Comics Earth 2 started out
great, but the current issue (number seven) had a noticeable lack of super
heroes or action. If the comic continues
this slide in to X-men like whiny talking between the Hero and Villain (we know
he is the villain from issue zero) I am going to drop this book. It is a shame because I have so far really
liked the different “wonders” and how different they are from what the Heroes
are like in the main line DC Universe.
Worlds’ Finest Huntress / Power Girl number seven is
entertaining. This series has been good
from issue one (even if a bit disjointed).
I really like the current story with the Robin (Damian Wayne) the
interaction with the Huntress’s other world family could have been sappier and
I am glad it was not. It will be
interesting to see if our worlds Batman has noticed or figured all this out
yet. I am kind of interested how Batman
and Huntress meeting would be handled by the writer.
